Spring Time

Daddy Cardinal

Baby Cardinal photo by SandyZ
Spring, to me, is the best time of the year. The flowers are in bloom and the trees are bright green with all thier new leaves. Every spring I get to watch the Daddy cardinal teach the baby how to eat from the feeder. Here is a photo I got of the baby. I was surprized he was even looking at me. Enjoy Spring!!!

Sandy,
I loved your B'Day pictures on picasweb! You know it's been too long since I've seen you when your hair is 10 inches longer! You look real nice!
Love, Linda

What cute birds! I didn't realize that baby cardinals weren't bright red like their parents. Are the female adults red, too?

We have these birds in Oregon- I think they're killdeer- they just make this high-pitched beeeeeee sound all day. They're trying to drive me CRAZY! :)~

Hope you're well.

The female Cardnal stays sorta rustic like the baby. The baby now is grown and is a bright red male, who still hangs out with mom & dad at the feeder. I also have wild green parrots the come feed. The pets & I love to watch all the wild life in the backyard.
